Rope- Alfred Hitchcock
Rope is a film directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1948. Through out there film there is a lack of editing, which is what it is famous for.
I rather enjoyed watching Rope. The lack of editing I did miss at first, for there were moments, where I wished the film would just cut and then move onto the next scene. However, I soon began to enjoy the lack of editing as it enhanced the theatrical feel to it. The camera movements worked very well to. When Phil said that it's risky to keep the camera still, but that it worked well during the scene where the house maid clears away, I agreed.
All through out that entire moment I was sitting there wanting to desperately call out to her to hurry up putting everything away and open the trunk. I look forward to watching Psycho tomorrow, as like Ruben said, we haven't had a film lecture in quite a while and I to was beginning to miss them.

Glad you enjoyed it. I thought tomatoes (or not :P) might be thrown...
