Just an attempt at combining the uncanny with the rule of thirds whilst making sure that my perspective was right. Rather pleased with how it turned out. I didn't quite reach 'the uncanny' feel to it but I did get the perspective ok.
also - I'm not sure you're working at the right ratio - in terms of your picture dimensions: I noticed that one of your final scenes for the concept art brief (the mountain image) wasn't at the 16:9 aspect ratio - try and work in the 'widescreen' format - after all, if you look at movies, and the way they compose their shots, they use the aspect ratio to create dynamism...

It was at one point but I think I must have accidenly used the wrong file to continue working. But ok I'll keep that in mind :)
