King Kong

King Kong was an animated film, released in 1933. The film consisted of special effects which were used for the first time in the history of film. Stop motion was used to animate Kong and the dinosaurs.

I've seen Kong before, the original and I was sure the scene where she's accused of robbing the stall was a little longer. However I didn't realize there was scene deleted. It was the scene following Kong shaking four sailors off the log bridge, causing them to fall into a ravine where they were eaten alive by giant spiders. However at the time, it was considered too gory and so was taken out. The original footage has on been seen once, in has never been found, shown publicly only once during a preview screening in San Bernardino.

  1. I just loved the way the conversation went with Anne and Jack, where he constantly put her down because she was a woman, and all she did was apologise for it. It just shows the feelings of the time

  2. Lol yes Though she wasn't the one to annoy me, regardless of the screaming. It was the men this time, running around like idiots. Plus clinging on to the log when Kong was shaking it. Felt like screaming at them to let go and try and run lol
